ASYMMETRICAL BALANCE
I chose this image to represent the "Principles of Design, asymmetrical balance". I chose this because just from looking at this image, you can tell that its not a balanced image. But instead its an image with a heavy and light person. Unbalanced.
SYMMETRICAL BALANCE
I chose this image to represent the "Principles of Design, symmetrical balance". I chose this because from looking at the wings of the butterfly, both sides are equally the same shape, weight and pattern. Therefore, both sides are the same.
Emphasis
I chose this image to represent the "Principles of Design, Emphasis". I chose this because from looking at the image you can already tell the background is all black and white and the thing that stands out the most of the flower, fully in coloured. With this being said, the flower really stands out.
Proportion
I chose this image to represent the "Principles of Design, proportion". I chose this image because from looking at the earth, you can see all the continents, bodies of water and countries, all in different sizes. You can compare which one is bigger then which, or vice versa.
Rhythm
I chose this image to represent the "Principles of Design, rhythm". I chose this image because like music, it repeats the beat and rhythm of the song. For example is this equalizer. By playing music, it would keep the equalizer moving back up and down, following the beat of the song.
Harmony
I chose this picture to represent the "Principles of Design, harmony". I chose this because by looking at this picture, you can tell its peaceful and calm. Going with the flow, nice and slow.
Texture
I chose this image to represent the "Element of Design, texture". I chose this because from looking at this snake skin, you can see patterns on it and you can kind of predict on how it'll feel when you touch it.
Colour
I chose this picture to represent the "Element of Design, colour". I chose this because you can see multiple blends of colour that draws my attention.
Shape
I chose this to represent the "Element of Design, shape". I chose this because this picture shows more then one shape. A triangle and a square can be seen.
Line
I chose this picture to represent the "Element of Design, line". I chose this because in this picture, it shows multiple lines swirling back and forth changing from one colour to another. With the black background, you can perfectly see all of the lines appearing and changing.
